Union Dental Corp is
not an insurance company. We set up networks of dentists for the unions
to provide less out of pocket costs for their members. 2. Can I use Union Dental Corp after I have exhausted my benefits for the calendar year? NO. We utilize the insurance
that is negotiated for you by the Union and your employer. Once your
benefits are exhausted you have to wait for January 1st for a new calendar
year of benefits. 3. Can I verify benefits with Union Dental Corp? Benefits are verified directly
with the insurance company that your employer provides. 4. Can any union member use Union Dental Corp Network? YES, as long as you opted
for the "Fee for Service Option” during the Annual Open Enrollment. 5. What is the difference between a cap and a crown? They are both the same, but
called by two different names. 6. Is my family covered by Union Dental Corp? YES, as long as they are
insured members of your family. 7. If I belong to a DHMO how can I change to the “Fee for Service Option”? Contact the Human Resources
Department at your place of employment and be sure to verify the effective
date of the change. 8. Must I use one of the dentists on the Union Dental Corp network? YES, if you want to take
advantage of the reduced “Out Of Pocket” expenses. 9. Are there any “Out of Pocket” expenses for cleanings or x-rays? All preventative dentistry,
such as cleaning and x-rays are “FREE” with Union Dental
Corp. 10. How do I sign up for Union Dental Corp? As long as you are a union
member and have the “Fee for Service” option, just call
one of the dentists listed on our Website or in our brochure. Tell them
you are a union member and make an appointment. The dental Office will
